Mrs. Woodlands, Bonnie Hubert, Wins Mrs. Texas International State Crown

Sunday evening Mrs. Woodlands, Bonnie Hubert, was crowned Mrs. Texas International at the state pageant in San Antonio, Texas. She selected CASA Court Appointed Special Advocates as the non-profit organization she will represent during her reign. Bonnie is the crisis intervention specialist with the Conroe Independent School District, and says she sees firsthand, the need for volunteers to advocate for children who are wards of the courts. She has been working with Child Advocates of Montgomery County, Inc., upon winning the local Mrs. Woodlands title. Winning the state title will give her the opportunity to represent CASA across the state, recruiting volunteers for this very essential program. Albeit all the contestants were representing important causes, the winner is also judged by best representing the woman who can balance family, a career, community service, and still take the time to keep herself healthy. This particular pageant was initiated to showcase the accomplishments of today's married women.
Bonnie is the wife of WCA At-Large Director, Skeeter Hubert, managing partner of High Point Financial Group, and the mother of Olivia, Blake, and Kyle. CASA is a national program with chapters across the country. CASA will serve to benefit on a large scale should Mrs. Hubert win the national title in Chicago, Illinois, on July 17 and 18.
